How a Warplanes Aviator session is flown

This page follows the about text on Google Play. Where the card is silent, I stay silent. Checked 9 October 2026.

The loop the Aviator card describes

  1. Pick a campaign. The listing names the USA, Great Britain, the USSR, Germany and Japan.
  2. Fly one of the historical planes. The about text says more than 50, and it names Spitfire, P-51, Hurricane, Lancaster, Il-2 “Shturmovik”, La-5FN, Ju-87 “Stuka”, Fw 200 “Condor” and B-17 “Flying Fortress”.
  3. Treat the pilot as squadron leader: buy planes, recruit and train pilots, or take a mission alone.
  4. Build the base. Hangars, other structures, anti-aircraft artillery and barrage balloons are the pieces the text lists.
  5. Run the mission types it names: fighter encounters, protecting ground structures from bombers, fighting over the sea, and flying bombers against strategic targets. The landscapes it names are Europe, Africa, Asia and the Pacific.

Controls the Aviator listing does not draw

The card calls the controls intuitive and the flight mechanics user-friendly. It does not publish a button map, a tilt diagram, or a throttle layout. I will not sketch one.

The same about text says radio chatter plays in American English, British English, Russian, German and Japanese.
